Hotel de RomeModern wedding in a historic ballroom in the heart of Berlin

A classic dream wedding that begins with a ceremony at the registry office

After all the guests have offered their best wishes and congratulations to the bride and groom, the wedding party is treated to a fun ride on the “Spreesegler,” a restored GDR-era bus, complete with plenty of piccolo and canapés. Meanwhile, the bride and groom are picked up by a Rolls-Royce and treat themselves to a short break at the hotel.

Guests are chauffeured to the elegant Hotel de Rome in the heart of Berlin, where they present their gifts in the lobby in front of a custom-designed photo backdrop and have their pictures taken with the bride and groom.

The well-known Klas Band plays its refreshing tunes. The party moves into the festively decorated ballroom with its high ceilings, illuminated glass roof, and polished mosaic floor. The stunningly beautiful dancers from the legendary Friedrichstadtpalast ceremoniously welcome the wedding guests and escort them to their seats.

Touching moments during the opening dance—the love and tenderness sparkling in the newlyweds’ eyes is palpable to all the guests. This is followed by heartfelt words from family and friends, and the special spark that ignites the night’s festivities is kindled. Performers from the famous Cirque du Soleil elevate the show to a world-class level.

The attire is festive, and champagne sparkles in the glasses. The sound of trumpets fills the house, and a spirit of conviviality hangs in the air. The glittering tables in the ballroom are set to match the theme. An exquisite meal unfolds: King crabs, lobsters, and paper-thin lamb fillets, presented on elegantly shaped plates, are a delight to the guests’ palates. Dessert and sweets are served by charming waitstaff. The dancing begins, and the celebration transforms into a dazzling ball that lasts until the early hours of the morning.
