They combine different life paths, cultural backgrounds and personal identities to create a unique celebration of love.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intercultural and LGBTQ+ weddings reflect a change in society. According to the Federal Statistical Office, around three percent of all marriages in Germany are same-sex marriages. Since the introduction of &#8220;marriage for all&#8221; in 2017, more than 65,000 same-sex marriages have already been performed. At the same time, around 40,000 to 45,000 marriages between partners of different nationalities take place every year.
